My review for Hunted by Darkness by Katie Reus

Thrilling and sexy Beauty and the Beast of sorts with the kind of HERO and HEROINE partnership I love.

Bo is a half-demon that doesn’t know much about love or how to go about showing it. He’s full of angst and raw feelings and because of his blood lineage he thinks he’s unworthy of beautiful, kind, and demure demigod Nyx.
Nyx has traveled to the earth realm trying to escape from her controlling parents. They don’t even care about her, they never did, not even to teach her the true potential of her powers.

With a creature such as Nyx only a hero like Bo could possibly fit the bill as the perfect male. He was demanding, over-protective, possessive, and was ready to maul anyone that so much as looked as Nyx. As a reader, I would have thought that to be annoying but it actually tied up the story nicely with Nyx’s character. She might have been sweet but she was no one’s ninny and once she understood the extension of her powers she taught Bo a thing or two about “girl power” and he had no choice but to trust her and back down. Most of the female characters created by this author tend to be Alpha and it was kind of refreshing meeting Nyx. She was naïve in her own way but never dull or stupid (I can’t stand those types of heroines).

It was also a treat to travel to another realm and meet different creatures and new amazing characters and hybrids! It was kind of a fantasy meets U/F meets the always awesome PNR by Katie Reus. Can’t wait to see where the story goes from here =D
I definitely recommend it to all lovers of U/F and PNR.
