Bedeviled (The Haunting of Castle Keyvnor Book 2) - Deb Marlowe, Kate Pearce, Michelle Willingham

Lovely set that included sweet to more spicy stories. I loved that they all had the feeling of a stand alone yet the characters connected within each story.

In A Dance With the Devil Jane, a vicar’s daughter, thinks she’s only a companion to her friend. However as the days go by she realizes there is much to her past she needs to know. All the while a ghost tries to help our hero Devon to win her heart and protect her from harm. This story had the perfect amount of mystery and romance. I only wish it would have been longer because the hero and heroine back stories deserved more attention. This was my first read from this author but I’ll definitely be reading more from her.

Lady Tamsyn and the Pixie’s Curse was a story of second chances. Tamsyn and Gryff were apart for the longest thinking the worst of each other. Circumstances place them at the same place at the same time and they have a chance to fix their problems. All the while, Tamsyn receives a special gift that makes her see more than she wants to and believes herself to be cursed. However with the help of Gryff (and other special friends) she realizes such gift could help her defeat dark forces attempting to take over Gryff's family inheritance. Even though the magical aspect was a bit too much for me, the romance was sweet and it was still a nice an enjoyable read.

A Ghost of a Chance was a sweet and funny read. I don’t think there’s been anything I haven’t liked by this author so far. Violet thinks herself to be the dull sister that doesn’t deserve the love of charming Charlie. Edwin on the other hand believes her to be the most deserving of admiration. Charlie seems to be besotted by Violet’s younger sister, Letty, all the while Violet believes Edwin is in love with Letty. Add to that a ghost that likes to help matters of the heart but instead complicates things. The story was short but the romance and ending were plenty satisfying.
